Day 5

Tuesday, June 4

Left Kathy & Roger a little after 9 this morning.  Started heading northwest toward Jackson, MS.  Followed Hwy 98 to Hattiesburg and then picked up Hwy 49 to Jackson.  Enjoyed driving through Mobile - got to see the USS Alabama from the causeway over Mobile Bay.  Very cool.  Then drove the trailer through a tunnel - yikes!  But we came out the other side unscathed.

So, both roads (hwy 98 and 49) were really good roads for traveling.

Then we got to I-20.  Very rough and bumpy and we ended up blowing a tire.  So fun changing that on the side of the interstate.  The good news:  the blowout was on the passenger side so we were away from the traffic.

As soon as we got checked into the RV park, we went straight to the pool to cool off.

Tomorrow:  we head to Walmart to replace the tire......
