Had a great visit with John & Tami, Chase & Zack! There just never seems to be enough time to visit family...
But - the open road beckoned and we pulled out of Dallas this morning. Saw some amazing scenery on the drive today. Tried to capture some of it on film through the car window. I don't think the pictures could ever do it justice. The pretty colors, the plateaus, the open range... Very nice.
We're spending the night at a little park south of Lubbock, TX. Cute little park with a tiny little (& cold!) swimming pool. But it also has wifi, cable tv, and a fitness room... We're all good.
