Day 44

Saturday, July 13

Did some more sight-seeing in the Redwoods before leaving our campground at noon and heading north.  The Oregon coastline has been absolutely beautiful... but COLD!  I think our high today was 63.  Whatever happened to "happy mediums"?  We've gone from extreme heat (triple digits) to "freezing"!  And we still have Alaska ahead of us.  What were we thinking???

Tonight we're at The Mill RV park (attached to a casino).  We've lost on the slots; we've lost at Blackjack; we used their hot tub; and are now tucked in hoping to stay warm enough through the night!  There was also an RV show here today so we wandered through several motor homes and fifth wheels.  No little trailers so nothing we cold seriously look at and tempt ourselves with.

Tomorrow we continue up the coast (must see sea lions) and probably make our way inland again so we can start making our way to Seattle via Mt. St. Helen's and Mt. Rainier....
